- Q. Can Scale Manager 2 be affected by power cuts?
- A. Yes-In
some cases the microprocessor can glitch after a power cut of 1 - 15
seconds. This will be indicated by the LEDs not functioning correctly - to correct
the fault, switch off the unit for a minute, allowing the electronics to discharge
fully, then switch on..
- Q. I live in a large house. Will Scale Manager 2
cope?
- A. Yes - Scale Manager 2 is designed to give excellent
service in both large and small homes
- Q. What happens if the red light goes out?
- A. It
indicates a power fault.
- Q. What does a flashing red light indicate?
- A. The
unit is going through a self-diagnostic routine.
- Q. What does the red power light indicate?
- A. That
power is getting to the unit.
- Q. If the green lights stop what does these indicate?
- A. The
unit is not functioning correctly - switch off for a minute and restart
- Q. If I buy Scale Manager 2, what maintenance
will it require?
- A. None - just check from time to time the lights
are cycling correctly.
- Q. I live in a flat with one major tank, will Scale
Manager II operate?
- A. Usually but have a survey
to make sure.
- Q. I think my pipes are plastic and covered in paint,
will this be a problem?
- A. No, the magnetic pulses will not
be affected.
- Q. Is Scale Manager 2 noisy when operating?

No, nor is there any vibration.

- A. Scale Manager 2 is a belt and braces product and has two
